Redlog's HSE Consulting Services

Environmental Site Assessments

Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments (ESA) are done to evaluate potential environmental liability prior to or during the property transfer process.  We follow ASTME standards E1527 and E1903 or other international standards for the ESAs while at the same time understanding and accounting for the lack of publicly available information in many Asian countries.

Due Diligence and Compliance Audits

Due Diligence and Compliance Audits are corporate risk and liability management processes to ensure compliance with all relevant legal, regulatory and corporate HSE requirements. Our auditors use our own comprehensive legal and regulatory databases coupled with a client’s internal corporate HSE requirements to provide a detailed and comprehensive audit of a facility or business unit.

Environmental Impact Assessments

Environmental and Social Impact Assessment (EIA) is a permitting requirement for most new projects and is an increasingly important component of a bankable project feasibility study as per Equator Principles that have been widely adopted by financial institutes across Asia.   We carry out EIAs in accordance with local and/or international guidelines, including IFC requirements OP4.01.

Environmental Monitoring Programs

Monitoring of air emissions, wastewater discharges, groundwater, surface water and/or soils is a requirement for many facilities. We develop cost-effective monitoring programs, utilizing detailed sampling procedures and laboratory quality assurance programs to ensure data integrity. The outcome is that our results are real, not artifacts of sampling and/or laboratory errors as are often the case in Asia.

Industrial Hygiene Assessments

Industrial Hygiene (IH) studies are done to assess and control physical, chemical, biological or environmental hazards in the workplace that could cause injury or disease to workers.  We have completed dozens of IH studies, including surveys for lead paint, mold, dust, VOCs, noise,  measuring biomarkers in worker urine, blood and hair for chemical exposures, and risk assessments and toxicology studies of worker exposure to chemicals.

HSE Awareness and Training Programs

Organizations across Asia face a significant challenge in managing their HSE related issues. Many organizations are now taking steps to increase awareness and improve knowledge of employees through HSE training courses.   An increased level of HSE awareness can provide positive impacts to productivity and performance with reduced risks to workers. We provide a wide-range of HSE training programs to cover all needs.

Energy Conservation and Performance Audits

Energy audits provide a detailed analysis of the energy performance of a facility that leads to recommendations for energy savings improvement and financial benefits. Our trained auditors visit your facility and carry out the audit in in accordance with EN 16247 and ISO 50002.   We can also develop energy performance and energy efficiency options, including technical and economic feasibility studies for the proposed options.
